So - you're bored, you figure 'why not' and you sign up for online dating. Is it a meat market? Is it worth your time at all?

I think that you make all your decisions based on someone's picture (much like you do when you're out in a bar or something) and that's it. Plus they usually post really old pictures where they are 20 pounds lighter, have more hair, and haven't celebrated a birthday in this decade. Is there really any substance to online dating? It's like shopping for a mate based on their packaging. Plus, seriously, do you really know who's out there? They could be married and looking for some hook-ups for all we know!

I think that there is such a thing. It is possible for a woman to have sex with a man and it not "mean" anything. As long as the ground rules are put in place beforehand, then you are good to go. It is almost essential to have an outlet for your sexual frustrations/desires in this day and age. You can't go out and sleep with a random person every time you get horny. Setting up a "benefit" situation is mutually beneficial to both parties. I'm all for it. Sex with no emotion, drama, or strings? Sign me up!
